Payments and taxes
The total amount of your reservation includes VAT at a reduced rate: 6% of the total amount.
The total amount of your reservation does not include the Municipal Tourist Tax:
From April 1st to September 30th: € 2 per night and per person, for guests aged 16 and over, up to a maximum of 7 consecutive nights;
From October 1st to March 31st: € 1 per night per person, for guests aged 16 and over, up to a maximum of 7 consecutive nights.

All rates include breakfast served at Restaurant Dona Maria.
A valid credit card is required to guarantee the reservation. Upon confirmation, a card pre-authorization for the total amount of the first night is carried out. Payment of the entire stay, as well as the municipal tourist tax, is done at check-in. Promotional or prepaid rates will be charged at the time of booking.
If the credit card holder is not staying at the hotel, the client will be asked to fill in and sign an authorization form and present a copy of his/her identification document. Booking for groups
The website can only be used to make individual reservations for a maximum of nine rooms. For reservations of more than 10 rooms, it is necessary to contact the hotel directly, which may reserve the right to apply cancellation and payment policies for groups.
Flexible rate: the reservation can be canceled or modified free of charge until 3 pm the day before check-in. After this date, in case of cancellation, the value of the first night of the stay will be charged. In case of a no-show, the total amount of the reservation will be charged.
Non-refundable rate: the total amount of the stay will be charged immediately after the reservation is confirmed.
Official documents required
All guests (adults and children) staying at The Lodge Hotel must present a valid national identification document. Minors not accompanied by their parents must present a suitable declaration drawn up by following the valid legal terms.
We can provide a crib free of charge (available in all types), upon request, for children under the age of 3. The crib is subject to availability.
We apply a supplement of €50 per night for children between 3 and 12 years, inclusive (extra bed subject to availability and only applicable to some types of rooms and suites).
The hotel has a room for people with reduced mobility on request, subject to availability.
Our facilities are prepared for guests with reduced mobility, with elevators and wide doors.
Pets are not allowed at the hotel, except guide dogs, upon presentation of documentation.
There is paid public parking near the hotel, subject to availability. To guarantee a parking space, we recommend formalizing a pre-booking via email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We offer a valet parking service to all customers who travel to the hotel in their own or rented vehicle and park it in the Saba Beira-Rio car park. You just need to inform us about your arrival 30 minutes in advance. One of our bellboys will take care of your luggage and park your car. This service is only available between 7.00 a.m. and 11.30 p.m.
No smoking policy
The hotel only has non-smoking rooms, and the same policy applies to all common areas.
